Snow and Ice Sculptures in February 2020

King Isbit’s Minnesota Sn’Ice Playground returns in February

For the 3rd year, the Detroit Lakes City Beach and City Park will be filled with Snow and Ice fun! In January, huge ice blocks will be hand-harvested from Detroit Lake. Then over the next month, a crew of volunteers will construct a royal courtyard fit for a “King Isbit”. The public is encouraged to visit the finished spectacle during Polar Fest – February 6-17, 2020. A kick-off lighting ceremony is scheduled for Thursday, Feb 6th!

Snow sculptures, ice sculptures, artists in residence, sledding hill, evening light shows and so much more. Come enjoy our snow and ice because it is so Sn’Ice!
